SUMMER BASKETBALL TRAINING

Summer basketball training will be available on weekdays (and weekends upon request) from June 26th - August 19th.   Training will be conducted by current high school varsity players and graduates that have been trained on how to run the sessions at an age and skill appropriate level.  

• Each session will be about 65 minutes long (5 minutes of warm up, 60 minutes of workout)
• You can buy as many sessions up front as you want, and can purchase more after if you would like.  You can also purchase one at a time.
• Upon registration, we will reach out to you to pick your workout slots.
• We try to group players together in groups of 4-6 where it makes sense so we can teach within live play.  But will still conduct workouts with 1, 2 or 3 players if needed.
• If a group grows about 6 players, there will be two coaches on hand to run the training.
• Trainings will be conducted at Simsbury Farms.
• In the event of rain, an email will be sent out on the morning of the scheduled training

The Simsbury High School Girls Basketball team will be putting on a clinic from 8-11 AM at SHS for the following:

K-1 Grade Skill and Drills:  8-9 AM

2 Grade Skills and Drills: 9-10 AM

3-8 Grade Shooting Clinic:  10:15 - 11:15 AM (will be separated by skill level and age, older players will learn more advanced technique)

This is a fundraiser for the girls basketball program and will be $30 per player.  More information will be sent out soon!
